DriveMath ("we," "us") is built privacy-first. This policy explains, in plain language, exactly what happens to your data.
When you use DriveMath, the app saves the following on your device:
This data is never uploaded to us. To keep it safe and available on your other devices, DriveMath stores it in your own private iCloud (Apple's CloudKit private database) when you're signed into iCloud — the same place your other app data lives. Only you can access it; we cannot, and it is not stored on our servers. When iCloud sync is enabled, it follows your device's iCloud setting, and you can turn it off in Settings → [your name] → iCloud. If you delete the app or use "Reset all data," the on-device copy is erased; data already in your iCloud can be removed from your iCloud settings.
DriveMath requires an account, which you create with email, phone number, Google, or Apple, using Firebase Authentication (a service from Google LLC). To create and secure your account, the following may be processed:
This information is used solely to authenticate you. It is not used for advertising or tracking, and we do not share it with third parties beyond the authentication provider. Apple's Sign in with Apple can hide your real email via a private relay address; we fully support that.
DriveMath Pro subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details. Your subscription status is verified on-device via Apple's StoreKit.
DriveMath does not use location services. Mileage is calculated from the odometer readings you enter yourself — the app never requests or accesses your location.
DriveMath is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
We may update this policy; we'll revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, note it in the app.
