Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 6, 2026
DriveMath ("we," "us") is built privacy-first. This policy explains, in plain language, exactly what happens to your data.
The short version
- Your shifts, fares, mileage, and all financial figures stay on your phone. We never receive them, store them on our servers, or sell them.
- We do not use any advertising or analytics tracking.
- The only information that leaves your device is what's needed to sign you in (handled by Apple, Google, or Firebase Authentication — not collected by us for any other purpose).
What we store on your device
When you use DriveMath, the app saves the following locally on your iPhone only:
- Shifts (times, gross fares, odometer/mileage, tolls, parking)
- Vehicle details (MPG, gas price, maintenance and depreciation rates, insurance)
- Fill-ups, maintenance records, goals, and your settings
This data is never uploaded to us. If you delete the app or use "Reset all data," it is permanently erased. There is no cloud backup of this information.
Account sign-in
DriveMath lets you sign in with email, phone number, Google, or Apple, using Firebase Authentication (a service from Google LLC). To create and secure your account, the following may be processed:
- Your email address and/or phone number (depending on the method you choose)
- Your name, if provided by Sign in with Apple or Google
- An anonymous account identifier (user ID)
This information is used solely to authenticate you. It is not used for advertising or tracking, and we do not share it with third parties beyond the authentication provider. Apple's Sign in with Apple can hide your real email via a private relay address; we fully support that.
Purchases
DriveMath Pro subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details. Your subscription status is verified on-device via Apple's StoreKit.
What we do NOT do
- We do not track you across apps or websites.
- We do not include advertising SDKs or third-party analytics SDKs.
- We do not sell or rent your personal information.
- We do not access your contacts, photos, or browsing history.
Location
DriveMath does not use location services. Mileage is calculated from the odometer readings you enter yourself — the app never requests or accesses your location.
Your choices and rights
- You can use most of DriveMath without sharing any driving data with anyone — it stays on your phone.
- You can permanently delete your account and all data at any time from Settings → Data & Privacy → Delete account. You can also erase on-device data without deleting your account via "Reset all data."
- Depending on where you live (e.g., EEA, UK, California), you may have rights to access or delete personal data. Because your driving data lives only on your device, you are already in control of it.
Children
DriveMath is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
We may update this policy; we'll revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, note it in the app.
